Asbestos Management

With over 70 years combined experience in the asbestos industry we offer a full management service with advice from our greatly experienced staff.

Whether its a question of the best way to identify if Asbestos is present, or how to react to any asbestos already identified, we aim to give the most professional and impartial advice to assist our clients in making their decisions.

Asbestos consultancy 1A Management plan, following the creation of the Asbestos register, involves discussion with our clients to establish the priority list, (as detailed in Regulation 4 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012).  Once established, a planned program can be put into place for our client to follow.

A management plan is a live document and details what has been carried out and what is still required.  This can simply be ongoing monitoring of the condition of the Asbestos Containing Materials (ACMs), including information regarding actions that have been taken to date.  If there are any changes, the risk assessment would be updated and we re-evaluate with our client to establish what their options are.

If removal is required, we discuss with our clients when this should be carried out, taking into account whether the product needs notifying to the H.S.E. as this takes 14 days, but not all ACMs are notifiable.

We would not usually recommend removal of ACM's that are in good condition, as they are safer managed on site, but the risk assessment would strongly recommend removal if they are obviously breaking down and causing a hazard.

For more information regarding how to manage ACMs, please give us a call on 01634 864550 option 2.
